Houston Photographers Trash the Dress – Urban Style (news release) written by: Robin Binder Over 60 wedding and Freelance Photographers from the Houston area, many of which are members of the TexasPhotoForum.com, will be all about Downtown Houston on Saturday Dec. 1st for an Urban Style of “Trash the Dress”. They will be found all over Houston downtown parks and theater district that day photographing Brides and Models trashing their bridal dress, prom dress, vintage dress and party dress. Trash the Dress is a new Phenomenon that is sweeping the nation for Brides, Models, Photographers and Videographers creating Art Work. Instead of the traditional Trash the Dress settings of beaches and parks, event organizer Donnie Moreland of Katy based D Moreland Photography, felt it would add an interesting twist to do it in an urban city setting. Following a blessed event, the bride or model straps on that gorgeous dress once again for a final farewell photo to the gown she spent a fortune to wear for one day only. Brides and Models around the world are lining up for these fun and bazaar events. These so-called Trash the Dress photos have become all the rage with brides who want to add something unconventional or edgy look to their wedding albums. FREE to any bride that has recently been wedded and wants these edgy type photos. Beautiful, amusing, bizarre, diverse, astonishing, lovely, and sometimes wet and messy. These are the words that describe the trend of juxtaposing a lovely dressed person into an unexpected situation. The dress won't necessarily get trashed but they won't hesitate in asking you to sit down on a dirt road, lay on the grass or sand, lean against a moss covered tree or jump into water. Some don’t opt to preserve your dress in storage, they will be out to Trash the Dress.
